There was a time many years ago an artist wonder about the west side highway in New York City. He would listen to cassette tapes on his walkman and visualize the images that the sounds brought to his mind. In those days this sound was new, futuristic, and thought-provoking. He Would have visions of a world full of compassion, understanding, and togetherness. A world where everyone was saw themselves in one another a place of true love and respect for their fellow beings. The artist would walk for hours spending time in this imaginary place as it represented hope and inspiration. This gave him fuel for what he would years later become.

Who is this artist you may ask? His name is Fred P.

Reminiscent Era is a call back to those days of the Westside Highway where Fred would listen continuously to the deep emotive music that put him in a trance-like state. Almost dream-like as he would wander for hours in another world hoping for a brighter future. The music presented here represents the mood and emotions if his footsteps could talk. Each step a chapter in a story. Minimal, lush, and deep music designed for the mind to assist in a deeper Concentration.

My hope is to reach the people who may be in that space I was in all those years ago. My hope Is to provide the same inspiration within the music that was bestowed upon my on those cassette tapes. This my humble offering to pay it forward to the aspiring creative class yet to be discovered. I bid you peace, love, and respect as we Journey On…
